People & Identity
Antenna builds one identity per person and links their Git, project tracker, and AI tool accounts to it. Details such as team, manager, role, and department turn those identities into groups, which drive report filters, comparisons, costs, and group access. The more complete these details are, the more you can do with your reporting.
- Identity Graph: the identities Antenna builds, the details you can add, and how role categories and seniority are set.
- Groups: manual and automatic groups, manager groups, and group access.
Enriching Identities
Choose the method that matches where your people data lives. You can combine them, for example a directory sync for most people and manual edits for contractors.
| Method | Best for | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Okta Directory | Enterprises that use Okta | A native integration syncs people, their details, and Okta groups automatically. |
| Microsoft Entra ID | Enterprises that use Entra ID | Native integration, coming soon. Until then, push from Entra ID with the API. |
| Google Workspace | Enterprises that use Google Workspace | Native integration, coming soon. Until then, push from Google Workspace with the API. |
| API sync | Any identity provider or HR system, such as Workday | A scheduled job you run pulls people from your system and pushes changes to the Antenna Enterprise API. |
| CSV upload | One-time or occasional updates | Export people from any system and upload the file in Settings > Identities. |
| Antenna UI | Small fixes and exceptions | Edit identities one at a time or in bulk in Settings > Identities. |
Whichever method you use, you only update the details on each identity. Automatic groups for team, manager, department, and other attributes follow those details for you.
