🔄 GitHub Branch Protection Rules

Based on your feedback, we’re improving the accuracy of our Time to Approve metric to better reflect multi-step approval workflows. This update now incorporates the required number of approvals you’ve configured in your GitHub Branch Protection rules.

Previously, Time to Approve was measured from the first review to the first approval. Now, the clock stops only when the number of required approvals for a pull request has been met. This update also refines the start time for Time to Merge, which now begins after the final required approval is received. As a result, you may see an increase in this metric for PRs that require multiple reviewers.

This improved calculation is currently available for GitHub only. We are actively working on building out support for GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps and will share updates as they become available.
