Contributors
DEFINITION
Contributors are all of the Git users in your organization or within a group. Contributors are placed into three categories based on their Git activity: Developers, Reviewers, and Others.
HOW IT’S MEASURED
Contributors are categorized as follows:
- Developers are Git users who created at least one pull request in the last 90 days.
- Reviewers are Git users who reviewed at least one request in the last 90 days, but did not create any PRs.
- Others are Git users who are a part of your development team, but haven’t created or reviewed any pull requests in the last 90 days (e.g. managers, product managers, etc.)
PROTECTING DEVELOPER PRIVACY
We believe in developer privacy, productivity, and happiness above all. To protect against micromanagement and potential misuse, we’ll never show an individual developer’s data without their consent. Developer count is used to ensure individual data isn’t accessible when filtering data down to specific groups. A group must contain at least three developers to show data.
