Tracking the number of seats utilized helps measure the rate of adoption as part of your GitHub Copilot rollout.

HOW IT’S MEASURED

Seats utilized are paid seats to which you have assigned a GitHub user. Seats available are paid seats to which you have not assigned a GitHub user.

Seat utilization rate is calculated by dividing the number of seats utilized by the number of purchased seats.
